Elliot Weinstein is the Team Trudeau candidate for Calgary Heritage in the upcoming federal by-election.

Elliot is a community business leader and volunteer, dedicated to serving families in Calgary Heritage. Elliot originally moved to Calgary to attend university where he earned a BA in International Relations. He later earned an MBA with a focus on Energy Management and Sustainable Development.

Loving the city and community, Elliot decided to follow his passion in 2018 and opened his first business, an indoor beach volleyball and recreation facility in Calgary. His love for sport and drive to build healthier communities led him to create a business that brings people together to stay active all year round.

Throughout his career, Elliot has always worked to improve the lives of Calgarians. A passionate and dedicated community champion, Elliot has been a committed volunteer for a number of local and national organizations. As a board and advisory committee member of Leading Change Canada, Elliot has been devoted to youth leadership development and building a better future for young Canadians. Alongside his wife Cariann, Elliot’s focus has always been on building a better Calgary for their 2-year-old son.

Elliot is looking forward to connecting with voters across his riding and continuing to advocate for families in Calgary Heritage. Elliot will work with Justin Trudeau and the Liberal team to keep Canada moving forward and continue to make life more affordable, deliver better public health care, and grow a strong economy that works for all Calgarians.
